    Somewhat similar to CZ before CZ became well known and popular in this country. As a result, I think they are often priced more cheaply than they probably should be.

    With respect to the TP9 Elite specifically, it has a really good trigger. As good as the CZ P10 which some people are calling the best striker trigger to date. I like how it feels in the hand - very instinctual in terms of aiming. I also like the sights on it. Fiber optic front sight and kind of different back sight - a larger than normal u-shaped cut that's flat black in color with no markings. I heard someone call it a "tactical" sight which I presume means that it is intended to be picked up / perceived quickly in a high pressure situation. Maybe not as good for careful, precision aiming however.

    Overall, the pistol looks great and I say that as someone generally not fond of two tone guns. I really dig the tungsten gray slide. In truth, I'm not really in great need if yet another pistol and thus may not get either the Canik or the CZ anytime soon.
