We've moved up the chain of leagues each season and now have topped out of Eastern Washington.
Because we don't currently field 1 team each from U8-U19 both boys and girls we couldn't qualify for the highest level WPL/NPL Superleague or EA/GA leagues.
Now with the new affiliation, we'll be able to move our best teams into the WPL Superleague next season and will probably send our best players to join the best BVB Seattle players to compete as a BVB Washington team in the EA league the following year. Those levels are top tier nationally and those kids will get tons of visibility for college/national development.
Also, within the BVB International Academy, each season coaches from Germany will come over to CDA, train our players and ID the best of the bunch. They'll get invites to regional/national BVB development trainings and the best 18 boys and girls at each age will get invites to Germany each year. They'll get a paid trip to go to Dortmund for a couple weeks and will train with BVB Dortmund. One of those players from last year received a contract and is now living in Germany and playing with the jrs. For kids not on the road to the pros, there is an awesome college identification program that BVB IA runs.
Lots of specific training systems, player training apps, and coaching systems as well. It's providing stuff that we couldn't dream of achieving on our own.
wine was invented by the Romans... for orgies. and orgies are not too much fun if no-one wants to do it with you.10
