This is to let everybody know that the quarterly Scanner Club meeting is NOW
scheduled for Monday-- JULY 27th @ Chalco Hills Recreation Area (in the Natural Resource Center).
** THIS IS A NEW DATE **.....I moved it to July 27th, so we could welcome back Joe Badura to Nebraska.
For those of you who don't know Joe, he has been in the club for many years, and even after moving to Arizona, he still is real active with Nebraska Scanning, and is still a State Admin for the Radio-Reference.com web site>> http://www.radioreference.com
The meeting will start at 6:45PM & end by 9:00PM, and anybody can attend.
Everyone is encouraged to bring along their scanners, lap top computers, & frequency charts & talk group information.
Here are some of the things being considered for this month's meeting
1. Discussion of radio system in Douglas County
2. Exchange of general ideas and information (talk groups)
3. Programming scanners if anybody needs help doing so
3. Scanner resources available on the internet.
4. Open questions and answers
After the meeting, I think it would be fun
to visit more about scanning, and have a cold drink up at Brewsky's.... located @ 154th and Just North of "Q" ST. I hope to see some new faces at the meeting, as well as some of the regulars.... I am sure Joe would like to see many of you as well, plus it's our chance to give him some input to Local scanning issues.
