Anyone have a Mac OS X 10.4 install disk??? Posted by yoko on 11/2/2009, 2:01 pm I need one. Just got my computer a new brain but all I had was an old install disk, and none of my programs will work! Holy cow. Who's got one? I'd need it soon, will travel to get it! love, YOKO  Post a Response

Grey install disks are designed for a particular model. So a grey install disk that came with a macbook prolly won't work on a macbook pro, etc.. etc.. even different generations of machine may not work, but I'm not sure. White install disks are good for all machines that can support that OS, I *think*. Anyway, there are good torrents out there too.  Post a Response

I know I can probably look it up. But tell me. Also... in case I can't figure that out, what I need specifically is an install disk of 10.4 (tiger) for an iBook. Download transmission http://www.transmissionbt.com/ go to piratebay.org search 10.4 click the SE at the top of the 6th column to sort by # of seeders. open up a bunch that say 10.4, read peoples comments. pick one download the torrent open it in transmission wait (sometimes takes days, sometimes minutes) hope it works!  Post a Response
