It's the 20th anniversary of the falling of the Berlin Wall today. Any Berlin friends wanna chime in about how Berlin seems to be fairing? How are people celebrating? Reflecting? Just curious.
One of the things I loved about traveling to Germany was being able to talk to people who grew up in or during the GDR and what that was like.
This is a pretty good article about how people define the event and it's goals and repercussions.
