hey liv,
i've liked my seagull guitar for eight years.
mine needs some work now, but,
their guitars, by virtue of head-design,
stay in tune really well, even with fresh strings
seagull is an imprint, i think, of godin guitars
you can buy a lot of quality for the cost--
they don't advertise,
preferring to put the energy into craftsmanship,
which pays off by word of mouth
( they aren't paying me to love them )
i think you can get a pretty good seagull
new, for under $400
guitar & amp wellness center in brooklyn
is the largest seagull dealer in the state
usefulness of this information depends, of course,
on whether or not you like the tone
of their instruments
good luck
