You may want to call Richie at Richie’s Guitar shop 212-253-7643 I think he is on 11th street between B & C he works out of his apartment /store. Lots of people from the sidewalk cafe have used him including myself. He is a nice man and his prices are extra fair, be nice to him explain your finances and perhaps he can fix your guitar at a very reasonable rate or he will tell you it’s not worth fixing (he also sells guitars). He has strict rules about keeping appointments so don’t miss an appointment.
