Rather than attempt the daunting task of doing an AMERICAN HARDCORE-style documentary that gives Antifolk its due, I'm fleshing out an idea MMM gave me (apparently he and Toby talked about it on tour) to do a flick like DOWNTOWN 81

A shaggy-dog fiction film that acts as a de facto tour of the current scene -- although I think I have a natural tendency to want to develop the plot a little more than these classic flicks (I'm still figuring that part out).
So who's gonna be our Basquiat and Debbie Harry, etc. etc.?
