I have a dozen or so original wiggle warts. Approx. half of them were a red-craw color, which has a bone color underneath the paint. The other ones are various types of chrome. I find that the craw ones run true right out of the box, while the chrome ones run off to the side and wobble (roll over) during the retrieve. I find the chrome ones very difficult to tune. They never seem to run as well as the craw ones do right out of the box. Has anyone else noticed this? Did they use a different plastic?

Alot of times the "chrome" bunches up around the line tie, If not cleaned up a little they'll never tune. A painted lure doesn't have these same issues so it's true right out of package. wggle warts have alway's been bad. Stick a big hook under the line tie and "clean it up" It'll tune.
