Justin ' No offense but as I already suggested via e-mail They SELL FOR ANYWHERE BETWEEN $10-$50+.... It is pretty common knowledge ..Roger is right on with his response for $5 a lure ... best luck! J.D~ The days of warts selling in K-mart or Payless for $1.99 is long gone folks.. Lets not low ball collectors for valuable lures.. LOL today I had an offer for $40 a GLOP... I was told thats all this ecomony could afford..but I more suspect a Resale's not collectors these days buying things up!

J.D I understand 100% because I have paid $35 for a single wart. But nobody is trying to low ball anyone for their collectable's, bad judgement call. I bought most of my vintage wiggle warts at a marine shop for $5.49!!!!! NIB Rare Find Its Crazy I know. But like I told Roger I have been paying $5 and UP so yeah it is good luck alright. P.S Is it rare to find v183's and v56's nib?

Hey Roger I do not have any for sale at that price, nib. Those are the ones that I am collecting. Like I said it was a rare find. I do have some in mint condition out of box though. Would you be interested in those?

So as it would seem you are asking or "offering" $5 a wiggle? Seems to me thats a bit low..if you come arcoss some lucky finds ..they certainly dont apply to collecting prices or market value of a wiggle wart.."currently average $12-20" Anyways you know my price so if you are actually looking for certain colors to complete a collection then you can mail me for your needs.. My point as misunderstood for "bad judgement" Was you are asking COLLECTORS to sell warts for $5 and UP as you mentioned! But never mentioned what colors nor price you would offer.. yet seem to want to make some sort of a "DEAL" on here? Thats was my thoughts Justin...I think Roger got the same impression but he speaks for himself! "Tightlines" again...best luck @ $5 a wart.. I got tons of "YELLOW" label warts Id sell ya for $4.25 each! Just a note... If I remember correctly Fred Myer's..Payless and K-mart were all selling Warts for $5+ plus taxes here in Cali before they junked to rapala..so you are asking @5 per wart less than they sold for in stores in some cases! ~I do remember the days of $1.99 and 2.99 but we are talking 20 years ago so..

I do appreciate the prompt response..... He asked what I was paying for them? If you look that is what was said. Now if it was to meen what will your max be for payment, than I would have said 35. No thanks on the yellow label. Tell me J.D would you pay fifteen for a used wiggle wart if all you were doing with those is fishing them? If so email me and I will sell some of them for $12-15 used out of box. But I have to say they are in good condition. You are I take a avid collector so...maybe...

The point is my new Warts in mint condition are worth $5 and your used Warts without a box are worth $12-$15. True Story... I was in a gun shop here in town 4 or 5 years ago, when an old woman brought in an old Browning Over an Under that had belonged to her husband and asked the owner for a fair price. The owner made her an offer that I could not hear, but fortunately she repeated the offer "$200". I could tell it was a $2000.00 to $2500.00 shotgun. I walked over to the owner and said "If you are willing to take advantage of people like this, I will never do business with you again!" I have never gone back to that store! After reading this story you are thinking "Man, Roger sure screwed up a sweet deal for that gun shop owner." Then you are not the type of person that I want to do business with ether.

I have hundreds of stories of similar types of cases in the Roofing buisness where some company comes and says no-way must replace..when it is a case of a single nail causing the leak.. No Roger im not thinking that at all. If your feelings are hurt and this is a way for you to vent, have at it. All I was looking for was warts!! In fact I found a stand up guy who selling them for $10 with shipping NIB. Thanks Roger for the great story. Honestly.

I think J.D.'s point was (and mine), if my new Warts in mint condition are worth $5 and your used Warts without a box are worth $12-$15... a guy might think you would take advantage of someone if given the chance. I think this is what got J.D. going. J.D. may have also tried to come to my rescue because at one time (before I retired, back before Normark bought Storm) I was buying 10,000 Storm baits at a time and was selling 100's everyday. I was a very large Storm Dealer and J.D. was one of my many, many Great Customers, as are many of the guys on this board. Sorry, I can't help you with your question... good luck with that. I agree I think that fishing is my life. And if I did have the warts you were looking for I would hand them off to you for 5 plus shipping just to show that I am somewhat kind. Good fishing always!!!
