I got the impression that he was taking a vacation from the board. Sorry to say many of us don't know what it takes to run this thing and after a few year with not much help and very little gratitude, a guy just needs to take a break.
I probably wasn't much help with my thoughts on "Don't sweat the small stuff"... but I was trying to get him to realize that he was kinda "wigging out" over somethings that wouldn't normally get to him.
Let's give the man a little break and after his SHORT break, when he's back, we need to realize how much time it takes to run this thing and offer to help when we can. I know that I'm guilty of not offering to help... but at my age, how much help could I be?
Some of us have gotten bad about taking the time for a simple "Thank You!", we take the time to ask the question but forget to thank them for the answer. I recently engaged in a thread that went on way too long and was not necessary. I have also noticed that we sometimes treat people on this board differently than we would in person... I'll work on that too.
