Posted by Jen Baum on January 12, 2004, 7:22 am As many of you know, we have an exciting new radio program called "Blades of Blue: The Homegrown Bluegrass Show!" The program launches is March of 2004, and we are busy in pre-production right now. The program will feature new, regional, and independent bluegrass artists that you don't generally hear on bluegrass radio. I am writing this post to invite you to receive our show's monthly newsletter. It will give information about the program, stations that become affiliates, where to find playlists, information about the bands we feature and upcoming show info...PLUS festival updates, advertising opportunities, and lots of FUN information and trivia as well. Each month we also have a link to our bluegrass CD review as well. That's a great way to find out about new projects from smaller acts. The best part is, it is totally free. Not a daily fill your mailbox kind of thing...once a month. Standard text format, nothing too fancy. We don't share your email address with anyone, and we write and manage our own newsletter right at our office. To be a part of this fantastic, new, and exciting (clearly there was a need for adjectives), new program via the newsletter, just email us at bluegrass@greenmountainmusic.com . When we get the response, we will add your address to our monthly mailing list. All artists on a Green Mountain Music or Boulton Beach Studios program will automatically receive the newsletter. If you do not wish to receive the newsletter, do nothing. THANK YOU for your interest in up and coming Bluegrass Artists from around the world. For Bluegrass like you have never heard before, tune in to "Blades of Blue: THE Homegrown Bluegrass Show!" or visit us online at http://www.greenmountainmusic.com/bluegrass We are also accepting submissions for radio airplay.
