I am a professional fiddle, mandolin and guitar (flat-picking or rhythm) player looking for a working bluegrass/or country band (preferable bluegrass). I’ve been playing for over 10 years, I’m 21 years old now. My main instrument is the fiddle, but I can play the mandolin and guitar just as well. I live in Moore Oklahoma but I’d be willing to travel about anywhere in Oklahoma to practice with a band that seems promising. Honestly, I’ve tried to help people out by trying the start bands, and I’ve been trying to start my own band as well, so if you’re trying to start up a band, please contact me only after you’ve established the other members and are ready for full band practice. You can listen to the song “cabin home on the hill” on my myspace www.myspace.com/travisaustinmusic , on that song, I played absolutely everything, fiddle, mandolin, vocals, guitar, bass, I also played everything on the song “Sally Goodin”. I’d prefer a band that gigs at least 3-4 times a month with goals of eventually playing more, I’m not in school and I’ll quite my job in a heartbeat, so therefore I’m very available and willing to tour and play out of state gigs. I also have my own home studio with pro-tools, some REALLY good microphones and I’m certified in audio recording so I know what I’m doing, with me in the band, you won’t ever have to pay studio time again.
