Hey ya'll! well its been a while since I work off shore! went to Ocean corp in tx in 85. worked off shore with Subsea diving for about a year till the crash of 86. went into pipe welding after that. Now I moved to Alaska , been working as a mill mechanic at a remote mine site for 13 years. great money, work 2 weeks on 1 week off 12 hours a day 7 days a week when here. I been itching to get back into diving as a Hobby! Lots of Mammath tusk that sluffed off the Cliffs and end up it the ocean . So I bought a KM 77 last week with a dry suit com box . got all winter to get ready. lots more stuff to get and also LEARN about cold water diving. A friend of mine will help me . Its all shallow sweeping from the beach and yep , our water during the summer is around 38 degrees. Months to work , july and aug only. Mississippi blood doenst like this cold weather much , So looking into a hot water rig. Anyone have any info or pictures , diagrams of whats needed?
