It was good advice, at that. And yeah, catching people is hard. Sometimes downright impossible. Especially when 99% of the people who don't do it worry about being a rat rather than who they work with. That's where the slack comes from that allows it to be so prevalent. And for what it's worth, some offices are crawling with dopers and coke heads too. In a lot of ways that's worse in my book.
None of that makes it right or acceptable.
