Not trying to bust anybody's bubble, but there is plenty of tricky shit going on offshore. Just because you worked out there for a little while and maybe ended up on jobs jetting and tying off bouy's doesn't mean that's all there is to it. There's plenty of blackwater, technical rigging and pipefitting and valve work and that kind of shit, and lots of good long dives in addition to some short ones that can be a motherfukker.
I will agree that inland diving can be wild, especially on damn's doing sluicegate or valve work.
It's all diving anyway's, just construction and inspection under the water.
Good luck being a hater, there's plenty on both sides of the coin to stack up with.
