Kodiak wasn't dog aggressive, just male aggressive once a male was fully developed. If there was a spayed male or a young male, he was just fine. If there was a female, he acted like a nut and tried to show off. Puppies, now that would bring out the silly boy in him!! LOL He would lay on his back and let the litters dog pile him. His pups are all great, at least we haven't heard otherwise.
We have pups off him, friends have pups off of him, other kennels have pups off of him, family has pups off of him, and pet homes have pups off of him. All are of impeccable temperament as far as we know. I can say for sure that the ones that we, our friends, and our family have can be let loose around any dogs (neighbors, friends, strays, dog parks, etc.). We've never heard anything from the kennels that have his pups about aggression issues and the only behavior problems we have had from pet owners have come down to training and discipline (fixed as soon as they got into an obedience program at our suggestion).
We've had one person that couldn't handle their dog, so we took him back, worked with him, and found that he just needed a firmer hand than they were giving him. He was placed with someone that had a firmer hand, and all is perfect now. The person that returned that pup, already has another pup from us that is softer and they are doing great.
Willy is a grandson of Kodiak and Justice is 4 times Kodiak, they are the best of friends! If they can't play with each other, they whine and cry lol. Silly boys.
We can and do let all of our OBB's loose together to play in the yard, without problems.
