In the last couple of weeks I have not been able to get to the match because my good lady has not been to well and cannot be left alone. My daughter and son in law are both away so my daughter cannot obviously be here to look after my wife so no game for me. In that period I have posted a couple of messages stating facts that are true i.e. other teams games in hand etc but have been shot down in flames from mainly posters I meet at the match. With stupid questions like are you not happy to be in the play offs etc.If I was not happy I would stop going permanently,do they think I would be happy to see the team relegated? I am a Mancunian by birth and started watching football in 1948 at Old Trafford with my dad. In 1952 my dad took me to Oldham and I enjoyed it and decided to divide my time between United, Oldham and City. Being at Old Trafford and Maine Road enabled me to see many famous players as with all due respect I would never have seen at Boundary Park. My good ladies cousin was Nobby Stiles now deceased and the Bank that I worked at in Manchester had many famous footballers as customers Bobby Charlton, Denis Law who I became very friendly with also Colin Barlow and his sister.I eventually fell out with United over Wembley tickets and became a 100% Latics fan, which I am to this day.I will never change but reserve the right to critisize when in my opinion this is okay. I hope I have not bored people to death with this post but felt I would like to define my feelings.I have posted some of these facts before on occasions and for that I apologize.
