Clarence Seedorf, the former Holland midfielder, has ruled himself out of the running for the Oldham Athletic managerís job. Seedorf, who managed AC Milan, was one of a number of candidates being considered by the League One club.
The 41-year-old was interviewed last week for the job at Boundary Park, which is vacant following the sacking of John Sheridan. Seedorf had dinner with Simon Corney, the Oldham chairman, in Manchester on Thursday after being given a tour of the ground.
But it is understood that Seedorf is no longer interested in taking the position as he is hoping to secure a job in the Championship or Premier League.
