The first Latics match I went to was with my mum, dad and two brothers. We took us on the 117 bus from Ashford Rd Feltham to Hounslow. We then took the tube from Hounslow East to either, Wood Lane or Shepherds Bush Market, Shepherds Bush is the more likely. Though my first ever football match we took the bus from Feltham to Brentford. The clues to my age was contained in a discussion with Essex. Have a look back.
Later I went to games when I could, usually when my dad visited my gran and grandad's. My first match at BP was against Swansea Town 1970ish. I also would go with my cousin and we would catch the bus and walk down Sheepfoot Lane. Cogs whirring yet?
I have also travelled to another cousins by moped when I got older and then would travel by coach with him to aways. Which company I do not know.
For the last I don't know how many years, I have driven to both home and away matches.
I used to walk right around the BP starting at the 'tunnel' and being back there for the end of the game. I then moved to the Chaddy. I must say I'm not surprised you got into some scrapes with you're attitude. Maybe you are the reason we got moved to the RRE was at the request of the Chaddy End supporters and the plan was not to tell you!!
There was one occasion that the ticket office staff forced my daughter, aged about 6 at the time, and myself to stand in the Ford stand paddock amongst the Barnsley fans at a cup match.
Your comment. 'Now don't be little me again ok.' That could be interpreted so as a threat, really rather aggressive. Even more so taking into account that you mentioned me getting a smack a few days ago. Belittle is one word by the way. Nevertheless. I don't, you do it to yourself. Unfortunately you are the only one that can't see that.
I made myself stand out like a sore thumb on Tuesday please, make yourself known by all means. At my next game I will go further and pull out my pink and black 'German' shirt. Bob and I got to know each other due to that shirt.
You seem to have some sort of complex that matches attend equates to how 'big' a supporter someone is. How does this work?
Take the following as advice if so chose. When you are going to get into an argument, sorry debate, about something it is always better to have at least some facts. You just jump in half cocked spouting rubbish, making wild claims and really most of which are pure invention. You have nothing to back up what you are trying to say. When the odd occasion does occur that you do produce an actual fact it's already been on the internet in the papers on TV or you have reposted what someone else has already written.
Don't get angry and flustered keep calm plan your argument sorry debate first and have your facts ready for when you are challenged.
I will not even try to dispute your claim that you have attended more matches than me, neither of us can say categorically either way, but I suspect you have been to more games and in your eyes that gives you some sort of superior status. So be it if knowing that keeps you happy good for you. As a stand alone statement though, what does that prove to anyone other than you ?
