Hello Mr. Lingaas,
After reading the weather pattern that snuck up on Nome during the week of 01/20-26/08,it struck me as I wrote it, "an invisible low" because of its sudden introduction into the Nome area. I didn't intend to alarm anyone by writing what the article drew a picture of the storm for myself! Interesting though, how one such storm can suddenly materialize without warning, don't you think? And I will be careful of what I write next time, but that is the impression the article gave me.
