I thought that the epicentric origin of non-sanguinity must have been in the Middle East, given the now-kownn spread of modern man via the Y-chromosomal and m-DNA pathways. True, it is possible that present-day Eastern Europe could now have the highest concentrations of non-sanguine types, but that is unlikely to be the origin of non-sanguinity: it would be hard to explain NS types in North Africa if that were the case.
What would be required (once the NPA genes are identified) are genetic studies of NS genes (lack of trait N), especially in association with the known Y-chromosomal and m-DNA "Out of Africa" pathways (geographic trails, we call them).
