Comparing the personality types here with those on the random schizophrenia youtube videos, it appears that the autism individuals are indeed "childhood onset schizophrenia" or more extreme on the spectrum of neuro difference. They are all low temperament N. The one showing the individual who likes to sit in cars, seems perhaps NP in basic personality type. Some parents are shown and match the basic NPA personality types of parents.
So the research conclusion that both schizophrenia and autism are partially genetic and partially unexplained is supported here. The unexplained could be, though variation in genes or environmental issues like in utero or early childhood viral or other exposures?
If largely genetic, in fact, using NPA theory one would be drawn to the idea that the genes of low temperament N (or NP) are a baseline at risk group, and if supplemented by genes that further increase dopamine (perhaps other neurotransmitters as well) receptors' function or increase dopamine production and availability would produce syndromes of schizophrenia or autism if so profound that childhood development are significantly affected. I would add that this is not a new theory in regard to neurotransmitters, but medical therapies are not adequate yet. The new concept here on our website is that the low temperament N/NP is the basic baseline individual ( in our ethnic group (habitancy). In other habitancies, the low temperament A/PA is posited to be the baseline risk group.
The above is the nucleus of an article that will be produced and submitted for publication. It is an example of a low tech study that doesn't require blood work from these individuals.
