The met allele is found in much higher frequency in the First Peoples of the Americas than in their population of origin in Siberia. The First Peoples also appear to have DBH polymorphism coding for low DBH production, another gene known to relate to high dopamine and more introspection. So lots of dopamine circulating in those hearty voyagers.
