Female, age 41 to 50 years. "Hello, Should I surmise from this that I narcissistic? Thank you."
Computer output: NPA−/= type (possibly NA−/=), with S score of 95 (very high). Moderate temperament T and extroversion E scores. Low aggression A score. Moderate sanguinity/narcissism N score.
Are you narcissistic? If you are referring to the vulgar, pejorative usage of the term, then the answer is "probably not".
Having the trait of sanguinity (the N trait) does not necessarily imply narcissistic behavior. In addition, in your case the test indicates a high probability of both P trait (perfectionism) and A− trait (high S score, inhibition of aggression). Both of these tend to moderate any tendency to self-serving narcissism.
This is also consistent with the N score on the test (which measures how well the test answers correlate with the answers of a typical "pure" N type). The score was very moderate and not at all indicative of overt narcissistic behavior;
Finally, one should keep in mind that, in general, NPA personality type does not necessarily predict behavior of any sort, any more than being genetically male or female necessarily predicts any particular kind of behavior. Much depends on "other genes" and environment ("nurture", real-life situation).
