Here's a fairly recent review of infant deaths in Minnesota, and they found that only 2 or 6 infants reported as SIDS met the criteria. The 4 who didn't meet criteria were thought to have died of asphyxiation related to unsafe sleeping practices (sleeping on stomach or tightly wrapped). It appears that they investigators thought that these were not homicides.

And here's letter to a medical journal from the 90s where some of the debate points about whether there are any occult homicides among SIDS cases with the conclusion that there is no data to support that contention.
