Posted by Sophie Before reading the three volumes of N+S saga, I had watched the tv serie, and the disappointing "sequel" book III. I was very surprised that George and Madeline fell in love so quickly. I had read long time ago a commentary in which it was said that it was a pity that the tv serie did show the steps of george and madeline's reapproaching in contrary to the book in which it was better described. I've read the three volumes and there is no allusion to any love between george and madeline. Did john jakes wrote a sequel finally talking about george and madeline's love or was it only an hollywood adaptation ? Thanks in anticipation for your help.
