The only redeeming parts of Book III were George and Madeline finding each other, (though their love scene was a bit over acted, I thought,) and the ku klux clan's attack backfiring on them. I hated the new "Charlie" and why did they stop calling him "Charles?" He was dull, dull, dull. The other Charles had fire. This guy was also way too young. Willa was boring/not believable, and they killed Constance and Orry. Bent should have stayed dead, then maybe Book III would have turned out better. I find it hard to believe that Ashton didn't even mention her mother being dead, but she cried over the house? I never knew about the 3rd book, I only read the first two, and actually never finished the second one. I wish I would have skipped the third movie as well.
