Hi Danielle, I also am a big fan of North and South.My wife and I like to tour Greenwood plantation in St. Francisville,LA which is Resolute in the movie.It is about thirty minutes north of Baton Rouge.Although we have been several times, I never get tired of going.LOL-Anyway, I also had a great great great grandfather who fought for the CSA, and I thought that you may like to check out a website that may help you with your endeavour.It is www.youngsanders.org I think that it may be similar to what you may want to do.This one is in Louisiana.Well, I hope that it helps you out some.Good luck.
