Most of them should have rewatched their work in Books I and II. James Read did a decent job though I thought. Terri Garber seemed to pick back up a lot of the characteristics and quirks of Ashton, but given the plot, and dialogue, it became too self-parody and comical. Philip Casnoff as Bent definately gave the best performance. The actress playing Willa was just plain bad, and Lesley Ann Down was not consistent at all in her performance. Robert Wagner and Isabel 3 overdid their roles. I was thinking about your last statement myself. After watching Book III, it kinda makes me wish I hadn't. For years I didn't have access to it. I'd only watch Books I and II and I'd always wonder what would happen in the third one. Given the outcome, I still wish I didn't know.

Perhaps I am fishin' a bit on the Mont Royal comment. However, I didn't say it couldn't have been better.
