i guess i'm just one of one who loved book 3. i did not miss the inconsistencies, but i just accepted it for what it was. as a fan of north and south, i couldn't be without the 3rd one. constance's death really tugged at my heart. you could really feel her fear. what a beautifully acted scene. and i loved how charles found true love with willa, thinking he'd never love again after augusta.
