"In the book his hatred for George and Orry is so intense that just seeing Madeline in the picture makes him hope for the tiniest opening that he can find to humiliate Orry. However that makes more sense from the Bent from the book who is a pathetic socially inadequate sociaopath. The dashing Bent from the series makes it seem out of character that is true."
Bent hates Orry so much that he becomes obssessed with a neighbor's wife? Somehow that doesn't make any sense to me. I realize that Bent was crazy, but his insanity has never impeded his logic in that manner.
