I want to start a discussion thread; which series was better? Lonesome Dove or North and South. Sorry to disappoint anybody, but I think that LD was ten times better. The characters were more authentic and realistic. Unlike N&S, LD has stood the test of time. Everything is timeless from the theme music to Robert Duvall as Augustus MacCrae.
