Posted by Annie The part about the refugees makes me sick because Sherman and Sheridan were bad, bad guys, burning down everyone's house, then heading west to commit genocide against Native Americans. They would not have had any compassion for those people, that didn't happen ,and I hate that they are made to look like nice characters when they were evil. If they had been ficticious Yanks that would be different but they were real. --Previous Message--

The thing I hate about Book II is the junk about Madeline in Charleston. I don't believe she'd have left, knowing Clarissa knew her secret and didn't care.
