I disagree. I think that Book II is the best out of all three because of how it accuratley depicts the Civil War and the hardships associated with it. My favorite scene is in episode 6 just befor the final battle. Orry and Charles look at each and wish each other good luck without saying a word. I also like the Appomatax scene. My main complaint about North and South is that it makes it look like the Civil War was fought by the cast of Dallas and Dynasty
