A good idea for another North and South miniseries would be entitled North and South the next generation. This would be about the mid 20th century descendants of the Mains and the Hazzards. This crop deals with World War II, the Cold War, Civil Rights movement, McCarthyism, on into the 1960s it dwells into Civil Rights, rock n roll, the Beatle invasion, Soul music, Campus riots, The Vietnam War would be the primary divisive issue with the Mains in support and the Hassards opposed. The soundtrack would feature various rock and pop hits of the 60s. There would also be Woodstock and Watergate.
