Noodle's ink"
I'm no expert, but I agree with advice from Mick Downunder and Kelly G. Flushing the pen more often, or flushing thoroughly and then trying a different ink could help narrow down the problem. I have had some problems with Noodler's, and I know there are some repair folks who will not honor warranty on their work if Noodler's ink is used. After finding my Sailor 1911S hard-starting and running dry after 1/2 page or so, I read that not all nibs coming from the factory live up to the typical quality control standards of the manufacturer. So, just today, I mailed my pen to a repairer, convinced I just happened to get on that didn't quite live up to par for Sailor. Maybe you got one, too. It's worth more frequent cleaning and/or trying a different ink to find out. Good luck.
