Noodle's ink

I use a lot of Noodler's bulletproof ink (all colours) for that very quality--that it can't be erased or removed. It seems that the ink does not flow well in several of my pens with finer nibs, as in the Sailor 1911. Typically, the pen will write very well for a while and then the ink seems not to flow. If I push the ink through the nib, it will work again for a while. Should this ink not be used or should the pen be cleaned more frequently? (I typically clean the pens after several fillings with ink). I have no problems with Noodler's in any other pens. Any advice is appreciated.
