I know! Not only sharp, but also, made of metal, which is hard.
Nipples on other brands, have plastic nipples, which can break, when forced. When putting Parker Penman cartridges on soft nippled Parker pens, I use my Victorinox pocket knife to pierce the rather thick Penmman seal/hole, prior to insert the cart in the pen, otherwise it requires lots of pressure and risks possible damage to the soft plastic nipple.
