First pen"
pretty sure it was an Esterbrook and i was constantly buying the little bottles of Pen-it ink. I was so frugal at the time I would sometimes suck up a few drops of water just to dilute what was left of the ink so I could get another few 100 feet of writing I had lousy handwriting back then but when i used my fountain pen I tried real hard to write in a nice hand, I kind of felt it was not only what you were saying but how it looks on paper that counts, especially when i am getting all mushy with my heart throb...50 year anniversary coming up next June 13...or is the 15th? My real treasure was my grandfather c1930 Duofold which I would carefully dip, later sent to Parker for overhaul and is now in my rotation. Below, his pen set and business ink blotter.
