Viasat uplink channels from the UK offices for transmission in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland & Hungary, and additionally broadcasts channels from within Scandinavia, the three Baltic States, Russia and other countries within the CIS. Role & Responsibilities: Main Duties The position requires no previous Scheduling background as training will be provided. You must be proactive, process-minded, meticulous, flexible, a keen problem solver and service minded. You are able to balance attention to detail with the overall picture and clearly communicate issues and potential solutions to clients. Reporting to: Team Leader/Head of Scheduling
Main responsibility of this position will be to schedule programmes and break junctions consisting of commercial and promotional breaks for TV3 Norway, and maintaining the breaks at all times. The role will be based within the Norwegian Scheduling Team and will be expected to help out as required within the team and the overall department as needed
- Schedule Programmes and create break junctions
- Execute any changes requested by Program Planners
- Adjusting commercial and promotional breaks as needed
- Schedule Presentation and Continuity in TX-log
- Help time and create TX-log
- Make sure the Ofcom regulations are followed
