okinawa in december

Hi, im looking at coming to Okinawa in December just to surf. I want to find somewhere quiet, with good waves and no american army personelle, im going to japan not virginia. I am more than happy to answer anyones questions about surfing australia and where i live at the moment, coolangatta. Arigato.
