Thanks for the posting. To me the most important line is the very last. "we should avoid intruding on them"
I have been saying for years what is going to happen here is there will be an increase in human/ wolf enounters and within ten years they will declare all this Gila forest area "Critical Habitat" and it will be close dto the public. To hunters, to campers, to hikers and fishermen. The only one who will be aloowed in will be in guided groups with a "wolf Expert" leading them.
