I just stumbled across this website and found the argument by the protestant disputing the belief in Mary and I enjoyed the argument in favor of the veneration of Mary. I just wanted to say, that I am protestant and attending a Catholic parish for three years now. I will probably convert. But, I'm still studying! The original church has so much to offer to explain alot of spiritual events that I have seen and experienced in my own life in the last thirteen years and I find a trememdous amount of encouragement in reading about other people's experiences. I didn't find any enrichment in the protestant churches that helped to keep me strong in the faith. But, it was in the Evangelical churches and private school I attended in my youth that brought me to the faith. I praise God for both. I praise God that when I pray for the wisdom, God gives me the understanding of the assumption of Mary and the communion of saints. I praise God for the journey of understanding that there is no place in His kingdom for predjudice. Once I put my complete trust in the journey, God has given me the fieldtrip of a life time that I would never imagine and I look forward to more with excitement. Maybe the younger in the faith should pray for enlightenment and the journey and let God do it. I hope this makes sense.
