Posted by Amanda God is our Heavenly Father and wonderful Creator. He knows every hair on our heads, He knows our hearts better than we know our own. What He wants more than anything else for His children is that they find the path that leads to Him. What is that, you ask. God's path will make us eternally HAPPY!! If you feel called but strongly desire a family, perhaps you should consider lay religious life. You could volunteer with the poor, Bible school/CCD, RCIA, etc. Ultimately God wants us to be HAPPY and at PEACE!! Pray about your call and vocation and He will answer you. I hope I have helped!! Peace & love, --Previous Message--

I also have a feeling that I am being called to religious life, in particular, Carmelite life, but on the other hand, I am VERY happy that God may be calling me to be his bride. When I asked a friend, who had entered a seminary but was denied, he gave me the best advice I've ever had about vocations.

: I'm pretty confused, beacuse i DON'T
: want to be a nun! I'm perfectly happy

: getting married and raising children
: of my own when i grow up.
: If this was a true vocation,

: appeal to me? (even a little?!)
: I just seem to think that i could

: strong roots in thier faith rather
: than live a life on my own.
