I already have scoured the net and even bought a few booklets about him, but, have seen absolutely nothing on the churches teaching or views on this Archangel and would like to learn more obviously. *wink* I don't know why I feel a call to a deeper devotion to St. Raphael, but, I think it all began with my reading about Padre Pio and his guardian angel, so I started to read more on guardian angels, came across Archangel Raphael and after learning more about him was surprised to read that he is also the head of all the Guardian Angels! It saddens me how many Catholics have no idea who Archangel Raphael is or that there is even the Book of Tobit in the bible which is all about Archangel Raphael helping Tobias and Sara. Lastly, any information on any ancient or modern St. Raphael apparitions (if there are any) that have been documented by the Roman Catholic church would be appreciated as well. I would like to know if anyone has any information on any Saints who had a deep devotion to the Archangel Raphael or any important Catholic figures who did and what type of prayers and so on they used in their devotions?
