Vocation Question

I have a question about vocation. For years I have been trying to discern whether I have a calling to become a nun. I know that if I were to be a nun that I would want to be an active nun preferably a teacher in a Catholic School. My question is two fold....how do you know that you have been called to the celibate life and not to marriage. I have never had a boyfriend and I don't know if my sense of wanting to become a nun is a reaction to not ever having a relationship. Also once you are a nun do you have to stay with the same order your whole life or can you change...Lastly, what are some orders in the New York and New Jersey area that I could look into.
