I have read the question and response on the Catholic/Roman Catholic issue... Honestly, I still don't understand the difference! Maybe someone can email it to me in lay-terms! (LOL) I am very curious about this and would appreciate a response. From what I have read, I seem to understand that it is determined to the place were you are whether you are Roman Catholic or Catholic, etc. (Western or Eastern) But why? Who's idea was this? What does the Pope have to do with it? What are all of the different types of Catholics, and what are thier differences? I was Baptized -and have made all of my sacraments, in a Roman-Catholic Church, and I would like to know, now that I see all of this exactly what that means and what all of this is about, so I know where to go from here regarding Religion and my future. Whats the difference between Catholics, Roman-Catholics and Christians? I though that the word Christian just meant that a person believes in Christ? Now, these people from a "Christian Church" have approached me... what should I do...?
