I did attend the taping of the pilot show. It is loosely based on the radio show and on Phil's real life. In the show, Phil (goes by his first name) is a retired Detroit cop who moves to Florida and becomes the head of security for the "Floral Estates" gated community. I found the show to be very funny...better than a couple of current top shows. If this show is not picked by NBC, I can see Lloyd meeting the network's executives with a "piece of piano wire."
