I guess what gets me is the fact that the whole basis of Phil's show was because he didn't want to do a show like all of the other corporate controlled shock DJs. But now it seems like he's one of them. Money talks folks. Hell a few days ago he was talking about charging for his autograph! To hell with him. Like the Jerky Boys who came and went, so will he. He's a dying fad and he knows it, so he's trying to make as much as he can as quick as he can before he's gone over the next several years. Yes his act was entertaining and sometimes still is - but the fact remains - he's still a rude (and sometimes obnoxious/annoying) asshole who doesn't really give a shit about anyone but himself. Rush Limbaugh and Art Bell did the same thing with their websites (charging for audio), but at least they have class - Phil is still an ass.
